Job Summary:
The position requires an outgoing personality with experience in the field of hospitality and private aviation and has shown the characteristics needed. The ability of this individual to welcome arriving aircraft and guests to the Air Center in a way that helps them feel "at home" while visiting National Jets is critical to the success of their position. This is a position that requires an incoming, outgoing, accomplished person inspired by the desire to provide customers with the highest level of service. Coordination with the members of the Guest Service and the workers of the line is important.
Air Crew provides ground support and customer service to crew members and their passengers. When guests board or disembark on the aircraft, Air Crew is there to assist any guest needs, such as baggage, catering and data. This position is also cross-trained to also act as a GSR and should be able to perform all the necessary tasks of the GSR role if necessary. The needs of the National Jets guests always come first, and the Air Crew should always be prepared to assist other employees of the Air Center in assisting guests or providing assistance when and where necessary.

Responsibilities:
- Greeting and welcoming all visitors in a friendly, professional manner. Carry concierge slips, paper and writing pads at all times.
- Engage and identify crew members, the name of the passenger when the opportunity arises.
- Escort crew and passengers on and off the plane.
- Assist with loading and unloading of baggage as required.
- Serve as a link between the aircraft and the Line and Guest Service Staff.
- Answer incoming phone calls, determine the purpose of the caller, and forward calls to the appropriate staff or department.
- Page, transfer, and handle multiple phone lines at once.
- Retrieve messages from voice mail and forward them to the appropriate staff.
- Comply with company policies and procedures related to customer service requirements, stairs, safety and security procedures.
- Identify crew members, passengers, guests and vendors in compliance with the safety procedures of the Company.
- Review and verify guest applications for vehicles and, if not, follow-up with the supplier.
- Receive and verify catering quality when delivered & invoiced.
- Ensure that all aircraft leaving are equipped with all standard amenities (ice, coffee, newspapers).
- Assist in receiving orders for gas, catering and ground transportation as required on a concierge slip.
- Attend crew or passengers with instructions or suggestions for food, accommodation, entertainment, etc. in surrounding areas.
- Transport customers by car to and from airport terminals and local hotels as needed.
- Resolve customer requests, questions and concerns about the services and products of the Company.
- Enter new product profiles for X1. Work closely with Guest Services to create a' database' of guest information-to receive business cards from crews and passengers, interests, special requests, relevant contacts, etc. This will allow the National Jets to go up and down with our guests.
- Understand all regional oil jets billing systems
- Assist Line Service Technicians and Guest Service Representatives as needed.
- Log crew use Assign temporary badges to non-FLL individuals Maintain gate 250 surveillance and report any suspicious behavior Follow open / closing procedures for each switch.
- Promote / Inform the guests of National Jets Partnerships and Fuel Programs-e.g. CAA, Paragon, MIASF, GoRental, Wing Points.
- Escort un-badged guests when there is a short line service.
- Respond to the gate intercom as necessary for cars to enter the gate.
- Alert FBO Holders of all their incoming customers
- Ensure proper and timely delivery of mail and parcels to and from all offices and departments.
- Sign up for and correctly mark the distribution of customer information within the CRM.
- Understand how to properly operate and track ARINC frequency
- Invoice for retail items sold under FBO, Air Ambulance and Executive Charter invoices As needed
- Work closely with the maintenance of correct shop orders and invoices Using POS for Government Air Card.
- Certain duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or general education (GED) degree.
- One year of Customer Service history.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as well as background check
- Successfully completion of all supervisor training program levels (National Jets and NATA Safety 1st)
- Passion to provide outstanding customer service experience.
- Be comfortable working outside during day or night shifts in all weather conditions.
- Work is performed on a regular basis in a combination of office and shop environments and is regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise.

- Able to communicate with customers and employees in person, on the phone and via radio communications Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office software and point of sale systems.
- Basic mathematical knowledge
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and be insurable under company insurance plan (Requires clean driving record)
- Excellent decision-making, reasoning, interaction, organizational, coordination and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform manual tasks, obey oral and written orders, multitask in a safe and efficient manner
