Successful candidates need to be able to work independently but as part of the overall team, be highly motivated, reliable and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Work in a safe and courteous way.
- Regular attendance is a job expectation.
- Read and understand the directions, including job cards and blue prints, the form and the material needed to create the bellows.
- Carry out light finishing tasks (i.e. wash bellows, paint, ventilation, binding, trim and dust bellows, installation of metal plates).
- Using hand tools (e.g. scissors, wire cutters, paint brushes, hammers, hole punchers).
- Use a sewing machine to connect collars and other pieces of fabric to the bellows.
- Box of completed bellows and shipment of goods to shipping & receiving.
- Using hand tools (e.g. scissors, wire cutters, paint brushes, hammers, hole punchers).
- Paint over the sewn parts of the content.
- Aid with the running of the Extruder machine. Use a compressed air weapon to vacuum the dirt.
- Update job status and view future jobs in ERP software.
- A product and time schedule would be required to complete potential jobs.
- Analyze and prepare the material and time needed for future jobs in ERP software.
- Provide final inspection to ensure the quality of the product when it is made.
- All other related tasks as assigned.
- High School Diploma / GED and higher education.
- Ability to communicate efficiently, both orally and in writing.
- Basic math skills are required.
- Ability to read a ruler or a meter of paper.
- Ability to read blue print (preferred)
- A minimum of two years of related experience is required.
- Excellent hand / eye coordination, good soldering skills and the ability to work under a microscope are required.
