They pack coffee blends, make coffee and tea, explain menu items to customers, clean and try to ensure that customers are comfortable and satisfied. Promotes coffee consumption by training clients; selling coffee and coffee grinding and brewing machines, tools and supplies; preparing and serving a range of coffee drinks, as well as pastries and cookies.

Responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers, reminding them of sales or new items, answering questions, and taking orders and payments.
- Preparing food, such as sandwiches and baked goods, and grinding and mixing coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving food to customers.
- Packaging of food and beverages for sale.
- Selling coffee and tea blends and brewing tools, highlighting variations between brands and training consumers on brewing methods.
- Drying and drying of work and dining areas, emptying of garbage and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
- Read about brewing methods, cocktail mixes, food preparation and presentation strategies to enhance food quality.
- Adjust signs and displays to attract customers.
- Inventory and replenishment of items in display cases, at tables or behind counters.
- Working as part of a fun, high-energy team.

Qualifications:
- Diploma in high school or equivalent.
- Preferred experience in food and beverage preparation or customer service.
- Education and willingness to continue to learn about food and beverage preparation.
- Outstanding listening and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
- Availability to operate at peak hours, including evenings, early mornings, weekends and holidays.
