Job Summary:
The Sales Representative is responsible for managing current and attracting new customers within the sales area, assisting branch customers with suitable product selection and use based agronomic needs, and sustaining and improving productive customer relationships.

- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to travel Minimum of five years of experience in the greens industry
- Bachelor's degree or higher in agriculture or business related fields
- Demonstrate outstanding written and oral communication skills for small and large teams with the ability to direct and impact information and precision coordination with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and team building skills with a positive attitude and ability to establish relationships with field staff, colleagues and customers.
- Customer base management Define key new customers, recognize their market, define their needs and create strategies and actions for growth in sales territories.
- Communicate programs, goals, tactics and action plans with the board.
- Person responsible for managing support resources for the region, including value added foods, branded products, plants, procurement and software, and for overseeing the execution and progress of strategies and goals with branch staff.
- Responsible for prediction and evaluation of sales territories.
- Responsible for the follow-up of credit policies and risk management for the organization Implementation of an annual business plan to maximize growth
- Implement marketing and sales plans; set and achieve sales targets; and network with industry representatives to broaden selling opportunities
- Develop brand and market knowledge to enhance understanding and reputation
- Become a primary contact between your consumers and Wilbur-Ellis Company, including delivery, scheduling, credit, complaint handling, etc.
