Job Summary:

- Review the orders and find the coils according to the schedule.
- Using the overhead crane or forklift: loading and unloading of furnace or carrier coils.
- Understand the gas and temperature emergency system.
- Raise and increasing the gas and temperature according to the index.
- To be able to work with the RX generator.
- Make and polish your mount.
- Perform: Tensile pull test, hardness test and upset test.
- Cut out the samples and label.
- Fill out production sheets, shift reports on a daily basis.
- Maintenance sheets as required.
- In-House denial, keep and precautionary tags must be filled in and put in the appropriate location.
- Keep the work area clean and organized, including the laboratory.
- Do some maintenance work on the machinery.
- Usage of the compactor and banding coils.
- Check the temperature of the natural gas: sample CO, CO2, O2, etc.
- Check every 15 minutes and check the carbon potential.
- If computerized, make sure it's running properly.
- Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) according to the guidelines.
- Daily inspection of the overhead crane and forklift before use.
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- You can read, write and speak English.
- High school diplomas or equivalents are needed.
- Basic computer skills Previous experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes in industrial settings.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends and holidays as required.
Working Conditions:
- Jobs require regular work on alternate weekends and holidays, and may be required to work in a non-air-conditioned area.
- Needs sitting, walking, turning, and twisting for the length of the expected move.
- Exposed everyday to sound, gases, smells and dirt.
- Vision safety, metal-toed boots, hard hat, ear plugs and high visibility clothing are necessary.
Physical criteria:
- Lift of at least 50 pounds.
- Bend it and ascend it.
- It's able to see and hear.
- It must be capable of recognizing and separating colours.
