Job Summary:

Excellent customer support skills to high-level stakeholders, leaders, vendors and employees to provide / solve data and resolve issues. Microsoft Office Suite (WORD, EXCEL & PowerPoint) Specialist in computer-based information management systems, servers and file collections as well as teamwork settings.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • This position supports the day-to-day operations of the Conference and Continuing Education Division and the Business Unit of Product Development and Sales (PDS). 
  • This role provides support to the leading unit of these areas: VP of DCCE, and Sr. The Director, PDS. 
  • This position welcomes visitors to the division and oversees the management of incoming in-person and telephone enquiries. 
  • Manages activities with members within and outside the organization under the leadership of the VP of DCCE and Sr. The Director, PDS. 
  • Help budget planning and main project management, including the execution of the corporate and administrative functions of the Conference and Continuing Education Division and the Product Development and Sales (PDS) business unit. 
  • Assist in the planning and review of documents to be submitted to the Board by the Conference and Continuing Education Division and the Business Unit Product Development & Sales (PDS). 
  • Help the Committee of Workers of the Annual Meetings during the sessions of the Committee
  • This role serves as the legal link for the entire Business Group (CCE, PDS, PUB) to facilitate the review and approval of contracts, as well as to monitor addendum's, status and expiry dates.
Qualifications:
  • BS / BA with a minimum duration of 5 years. In lieu of the BS / BA, a total of 9 years.
  • Administrative or project management experience working with a large team of employees and/or event scheduling experience.
  • Training in budget creation and planning, business intelligence software, meeting leadership.
  • Capacity to develop practical timetables and accurately track and report on deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently on a number of projects with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage and work effectively with information management systems.
  • Efficiency to resolve various concerns
  • Ability to work effectively and collegially with other staff to achieve goals and objectives Ability to work well as a team and at many different levels within the organization and to retain discretion with confidential information from Business Unit Leaders: DCCE, PDS, PUB and SVP Business Group.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is a key role of this position in ensuring positive member experiences, helping to maintain and enhance our image and value / satisfaction of the customer.
  • Great managerial, problem-solving, conflict resolution, project management, oral / written communication, customer service, business and proofreading skills
