Instructional Planning and Delivery, Monitoring Student Progress and Potential, Classroom Management and Organization, having Qualities of Effective Teachers
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the requirements of the district curriculum program and provide written proof of preparation as necessary
- Establish a student assessment process in compliance with the standards laid down in state law or adopted by the school district
- Continuously monitor and track different aspects of student success and report to parents as appropriate or required.
- Teaching in the course of study in the field at the grade level as prescribed by state law or adopted by the school district
- Provide a variety of planned learning experiences using a variety of media and methods to motivate students and make the most of the time available for instruction
- Identify the needs of pupils and work with other professional staff to assess and assist students.
- Share responsibility for communicating educational programs to the public through events such as open house and PTA meetings
- Participate in partnership with the Principal in the creation of a process for evaluating them in compliance with the district's standardized evaluation and appraisal guidelines
- Perform all other roles and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Any Technology Education, Industrial Technology or Industrial Arts Certificate Trade and Industrial Education, Grades 8-12 with appropriate work approval
- Vocational Trades and Industry with appropriate work approval
- Candidate must have a satisfactory result of fingerprinting background checks.
- Have completed, or are willing to complete, an Instructor Certification Training Program led by the NCCER Master Trainer.
- Demonstrated general knowledge of curricula and instruction
- Demonstrated knowledge of various routine teaching tasks, duties and procedures and ability to follow specific instructions with little or no previous experience
- Structure a physical classroom conductive learning experience.
