Job Summary:
This position oversees athletic training programs in a community or hospital setting under the direction of a supervised physician. Such services include, but are not limited to, college screening, injury prevention programs, educational training, injury evaluation and care and case management for injured athletes / clients seeking recovery. Practices and games for schools and athletic clubs and community athletic events also take part in this role.

Practices and games for schools and athletic clubs and community athletic events also take part in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate accidents and establish rehabilitation and workout schedules within the scope of practice.
- Re-evaluate care plans as needed to ensure full patient benefit.
- Implement individualized therapeutic interventions and track therapy responses to ensure client health.
- Records improvement and clinical adjustments to the referral doctor or the appropriate medical provider.
- Train patients, parents, and coaches on accidents, risk factor adjustment, and exercise programs.
- Conduct accident screening services, educational programs and seminars to encourage health and injury prevention.
- Reports the treatment of patients in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
- Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related fields from an accredited college training program.
- Registered National Athletic Trainers Association Certification and must have a current, state-of - the-art athletic trainer license.
- Certification of Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Requires the ability to work collaboratively with doctors and other health providers.
- Must have good social interaction and human relationship skills.
- Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
