Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all courtrooms and conference rooms have fully functioning audio and visual facilities by installation, monitoring, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Respond promptly to work station, computer, and audio / visual service desk tickets and provide repair, installation, modification and replacement of equipment.
- Participate in the installation of hardware and software.
- Provide end-user technical support for IT and AV systems in person, on the phone and by e-mail.
- Develop and conduct learning for helpdesk employees, investors and court staff to ensure consistency in the AV Engineering Support System courtroom.
- Provide example and evidence of the use of audio / visual equipment and internal software applications.
- Plan, check and set up online video conferencing sessions for ITV, live streaming, and Skype video interviews.
- Study, create and report solutions for engineering requests and engage in inventory management and resource monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Any combination of schooling, training and work experience that suggests the possession of the expertise, skills and abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related field) with one year of relevant experience in AV / IT or technical school certificate and three years of relevant experience in AV / IT.
- Learn the installation, setup and troubleshooting of audio amplification, digital recording and video conferencing devices.
- Experience with Denon, Extron, Crestron, HELO, QSC, DANTE, ITV and Cisco AV software.
- Experience of Microsoft operating systems and services such as Windows 10, Windows Server, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Hyper-V, Microsoft Office, Group Policy, and Active Directory.
- Knowledge and endorsement of concepts and best practices related to audio and visual engineering implementation.
- Capacity to use confidential or sensitive information.
