Job Summary:

This job will oversee audio and visual functions in courtrooms, hearing rooms and conference rooms. The role shall manage, install, aid and check audio, visual and network equipment related to sound systems, digital recording systems, supported listening devices, video conferencing (ITV) systems and telephone systems. Responsibilities will also include the installation, repair and maintenance of workstations, servers and LAN / WAN modules. The job is known as an Information Technology Specialist employed in an office setting.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that all courtrooms and conference rooms have fully functioning audio and visual facilities by installation, monitoring, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
Respond promptly to work station, computer, and audio / visual service desk tickets and provide repair, installation, modification and replacement of equipment.
Participate in the installation of hardware and software.
Provide end-user technical support for IT and AV systems in person, on the phone and by e-mail.
Develop and conduct learning for helpdesk employees, investors and court staff to ensure consistency in the AV Engineering Support System courtroom.
Provide example and evidence of the use of audio / visual equipment and internal software applications.
Plan, check and set up online video conferencing sessions for ITV, live streaming, and Skype video interviews.
Study, create and report solutions for engineering requests and engage in inventory management and resource monitoring.

Qualifications:

Any combination of schooling, training and work experience that suggests the possession of the expertise, skills and abilities.
Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related field) with one year of relevant experience in AV / IT or technical school certificate and three years of relevant experience in AV / IT.
Learn the installation, setup and troubleshooting of audio amplification, digital recording and video conferencing devices.
Experience with Denon, Extron, Crestron, HELO, QSC, DANTE, ITV and Cisco AV software.
Experience of Microsoft operating systems and services such as Windows 10, Windows Server, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Hyper-V, Microsoft Office, Group Policy, and Active Directory.
Knowledge and endorsement of concepts and best practices related to audio and visual engineering implementation.
Capacity to use confidential or sensitive information.
