Job Summary:
Primary duties include (but are not limited to) diagnosis, assessment, treatment and prevention of hearing loss (and balance disorders) for both private patients and patients scheduled through the ENT / Audiology Clinics. The Audiologist / Hearing Care Professional's role is to provide Audiology services and diagnosis, treatment options and excellent patient care. Establish / build favorable public presence, approach major business and service agencies to facilitate hearing loss training events resulting in increased recognition of and solutions to the effects of Hearing Loss. Create, execute and externally share additional innovative marketing / sales strategies for business growth. Participate as defined in special projects.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth office operations and functional procedures for a consistent competent patient care atmosphere with the direct support of clinical staff.
- Perform patient hearing tests; evaluate outcomes and prescribe a range of care and service options; thoroughly answer patient questions / concerns about the advantages of effective and immediate use of Hearing Aids.
- Consult with the Marketing Department and other approved individuals to ensure the effective planning and execution of events designed to bring new or existing patients to the clinic on specified dates.
- Carry out scheduled brand fittings, either from direct sales or ENT / other provider referrals.
- Comply with all procedural agency quality standards and instructions to improve service efficiency and address customer concerns / objections.
- Work with patient families to ensure optimal consumer results and satisfaction.
- Report annually on operation status and related outcomes, patient quality, current patient retention and new patient growth initiatives in the format provided by the company
- Establish and maintain ties with local General Practitioners (GPs) and Ear Nose & Throat Specialists (ENTs);
- Hearing evaluations and diagnostic tests for all ages; prescribing, dispensing and installing hearing aids and hearing aids; conducting hearing aid maintenance and confirmation checks; dispensing and fitting custom or non-customized hearing aids (swimming plugs, hearing protection); providing appropriate advice for hearing aids (and tinnitus) and their families to minimize communication problems.

Qualifications:
- Clinical doctorate (AuD) required Must be a licensed audiologist and qualified to dispense hearing aids The applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent, a bachelor's degree and a doctor's degree in audiology.
- Minimum 1 year of medical expertise Pediatric experience desired Electrophysiology experience Working awareness of technologies and services available to meet the needs of hearing impaired people.
- Effective awareness of the anatomy and physiology of the auditory and vestibular system Knowledge of the psycho-social impact of hearing loss on the capacity of the person to work
- Working knowledge of communication / education options to help children with hearing loss achieve their potential Working knowledge of chronology and timetable for the normal development of voice, hearing and language skills Good interpersonal and social skills are needed for this role, as well as the ability to properly evaluate and manage a wide range of patients with varying degrees of degree.
