Job Summary:

Plan, describe and execute the implementation of integrated systems. The role is played by the design and architecture of the Audio / Visual (A / V) framework, including new site installations, existing site changes, integrated systems deployed and upgraded systems throughout the product lifecycle.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Audio Visual Technology, a person in this position would support the Information Digital Services Department's goal of identifying and providing A / V services to the enterprise, with over 7,000 users from various office locations, with different use cases.

Responsibilities:

Provide professional supervision of the project from design to construction and completion
Review time estimate of work on the basis of needs assessment, scope of work and bidding criteria
Build engineering and structural (RCP / Floor Plan) drawings, estimates, acoustic modeling
Identify and fix technological or operational obstacles to the delivery of work.Identify specific project specifications, including but not limited to: test equipment, specialized instruments, rigging support
Test audio DSP and video processing system software necessary for system functionality
Provide engineering support to the project implementation team as needed
Provide technical oversight of the on-site and on-site commissioning of systems
Meet current / prospective requirements Provide daily progress reports to clients
Responsible for project budget reporting
Design wall panels and overlays
Check integrated systems and troubleshoot as required
Provide technology and control system software support to project implementation team when needed
Coordinate with Progress Manager to help secure the appropriate installation staff.
Assist project manager in project delivery to the construction team as necessary
Provide project manager with recorded test results from system testing and commissioning •
Review project designs produced by internal and external resources and send them to the CAD department
Ability to travel to the various work sites required.

Good communication and contact with staff, customers and colleagues
Valid Driver's License and Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum of high school Diploma or equivalent
Formal education in electronics or related fields preferred
Minimum of five years of AV experience preferred
Mid-career or more years of experience driving standardization and best practices for development and implementation services in the A / V environment; leading enhancements, updates, patching, or operating and maintaining services.
High-level communication skills to communicate, influence and persuade others with the ability to develop and deliver ideas and suggestions to senior management
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply them to business needs
Mid-career or more years of experience offering professional administrative support for A / V systems
Mid-career or more years of experience supporting sit-in
