Job Summary:

Acknowledgements, greetings and discussions in English with consumers in need of baggage assistance.
Precisely delivers bags to and from guest rooms. Pick up the luggage of the guests upon departure and transport to the form of transport or delivery for storage.
Meets the guidelines for attendance at work and abides by regulatory, departmental and corporate policies.
Informs guests of the facilities and services available at the hotel. Helps the guest with space adjustments and retains the key protection of the room.
Participates in the maintenance of a healthy, clean work environment.
Full the appropriate room slip details and send it to Bell Captain on each side. Bell Man will also be responsible for storing and retrieving luggage in the luggage room as delegated by Bell Captain.

Responsibilities:

One year prior experience as a Bell Person is preferred.
Must be able to carry up to 80 pounds of heavy luggage.
Minimum of one year of customer service experience in a previous position, where direct customer service is the primary duty of jobs, is required.
Must have the proven ability to provide courteous, polite and effective services.
You have to be able to get along with your co-workers and work as a team.
Must have a well-groomed appearance
Carry out a variety of tasks to provide service to guests, such as carrying bags, checking baggage, and handling requests for laundry and dry cleaning services.
Drive cars to and from the parking lot when requested.
Hang the clothes for the guests in the bell closet and return the clothes on request.
Keep the bell closet in order.
Minor cleaning of the lobby area as needed.
Keep the entrance in a clean condition by sweeping debris, shoveling snow, etc.
Drive your visitors to the airport, bus station, school, etc.
Keep the shuttle log in.
Make appointments with Fleet Services for the maintenance of vehicles.
Transportation packages, envelopes and mail among other buildings around the campus.
Save the mail delivery log.

Qualifications:

Includes the use of basic writing, addition, subtraction, complete numbers and instructions; and the use of fixed gauges and direct reading instruments and devices for which understanding is not needed.
Outgoing and welcoming personality required
Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends
Job needs outstanding social skills and ability to communicate with different types of personality
Must be able to work well in challenging, high-pressure situations
Must retain calm and objectivity under pressure
Must be well organized and able to make the right decisions.
